Baltimore City students learn debate skills in the classroom
ABC 2 News visits students in Ms. Jada Byron’s eighth grade class at Reach Partnership School as they warm up for a classroom debate. Ms. Jada Byron participated in BUDL’s “It’s Debatable!” Professional Development for BCPS teachers.
Debate is about expressing yourself. At our camp, you will get the chance to express your opinion and learn new ways to defend your ideas. You will become a clearer, more confident advocate for making the changes you want to see in the world. Your ideas are powerful; make sure they are heard!
