The Towson International Debate Institute, where more than 150 high school students from Baltimore, New Jersey and Maryland come together for two weeks of intense debating!!
The International Debate Education Association's institute and tournament.
Camp will be August 6-10 on the campus of the University of Baltimore. Please contact Sean at 410.752.2835 ext. 104 or sean@budl.org for more information or to receive an application.
We will have a one day workshop to prepare high school and middle school novice, JV and Varsity debaters for the season. It is also where we meet with all teachers to plan for the season.
This one counts as both a BCFL and a BUDL tournament. There is also a novice workshop and an important coaches meeting discussing the possiblity of hosting CFL nationals.

Students from the Baltimore Urban Debate League debated live on 92Q’s Big Phat Morning Show on Tuesday morning, broadcast from Talent Development High School in Baltimore City.
Students from the Baltimore Urban Debate League debated as part of a presentation for a mentorship lobby day in the state capitol.

This is the tournament for teams from DC, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania to qualify for the National Debate Tournament, the most prestigious and elite college debate tournament in the US.
This is a BUDL/BCFL tournament - the replacement for the "snow"ed out December Towson tournament.
